Motherhood Mini Sessions

This past month, I had the absolute joy of photographing a round of motherhood mini sessions here in Northern Colorado—and honestly, my heart is still so full.

These mini sessions are always a favorite of mine. There's something incredibly tender about moms stepping in front of the camera with their little ones—not just to pose, but to be present, to cuddle, to laugh, to simply be together. And this year’s spring sessions did not disappoint.

We lucked out with the most beautiful evening light, soft and diffused. The weather was mild, the breeze was gentle, and the love on display was the kind that needs no prompting.

What I love most about motherhood mini sessions is how honest they are. There’s no pressure for perfection. The tiny hand-holds, giggles, silly looks —all of it is part of the story. I don’t need every child to look at the camera. I just want to capture how it felt to be their mom in that moment.

Every session was unique, but the theme was the same: connection, tenderness, and a little bit of time to just be with your kids—without any other obligations.

To the mamas who showed up: thank you for trusting me with these memories. These sessions may be “mini” in time, but the love we capture is anything but small.
